Even if you have never studied or worked in a space-related field, your individual skills and knowledge might still be exactly what is needed to solve health issues within this context. The sectors of health and space are undeniably dependent upon one another: many of the challenges we face on Earth become even more puzzling and intriguing when viewed from the perspective of the space industry. We share ESA’s aspiration to promote innovation and digitalization across our industries, seemingly separate at first glance. By combining and leveraging our respective knowledge and expertise, we aim to tackle some of the biggest challenges in the areas of healthcare and spacecraft today. However – we can’t go down this path alone, we need you to support us by applying for our hackathon by October 1!
Do you enjoy working on meaningful solutions with a positive impact? Do you have a curious mind and a keen grasp of data, business, or marketing? Do you want to connect with experts who have backgrounds in space, healthcare, and data science? Then we have teamed up with ESA to offer you three different, exciting challenges as part of a 24-hour hackathon event in Darmstadt:
The participants will work with real Earth observation data provided by FabSpace 2.0, a European initiative bringing geo-enthusiasts together.
Besides number crunching and data analyzing, you can also showcase your business modelling skills and creativity in the 24-hour Space2Health Hackathon. Sign up for our event – the first of its kind, offering you the perfect chance to display your curiosity to experts from ESA and Merck. Take the chance to show off your talents, meet fascinating experts from the space and science industries, and win prizes of up to € 5000!
